Job summary
Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a Piping Superintendent to lead piping construction on our power generation projects. You will oversee aboveground and belowground piping, ensure work meets drawings, specs, codes, and budget, and provide field leadership to union foremen, crafts, and subcontractors.
You will coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical and startup teams, monitor manpower and materials, enforce safety policies, conduct field audits, and drive schedule adherence while delivering
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in industrial piping construction or related heavy industry projects.
- Proven leadership as Superintendent/Foreman on union piping projects.
- Familiar with piping codes, welding methods, and field construction techniques.
Responsibilities
- Lead all piping installation activities from receipt to testing and turnover.
- Direct supervision of union foremen, crafts, operators, and subcontractors.
- Enforce safety policies and regulatory requirements on site.
- Coordinate fit-up, welding, rigging, testing, inspections, and turnover.
- Ensure installations meet drawings, specs, and codes.
- Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and startup teams.
- Monitor manpower, equipment use, productivity, and material deliveries.
- Identify field conflicts and resolution strategies.
- Oversee hydrostatic and pneumatic testing, flushing, and turnover.
