Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) with 10–13 years of relevant experience, or 14–17 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Advanced knowledge of piping construction, including installation sequencing, welding, NDE, testing, turnover, clean construction practices, and applicable codes and standards.
• Ability to lead large craft teams and superintendents in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Strong planning skills including workforce forecasting, installation packages, and schedule/cost awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping construction execution for an assigned area or facility with subordinate superintendents and craft teams.
• Plan and schedule daily/weekly work, assign packages, review progress, and monitor productivity.
• Determine workforce, material, tools, and equipment needs for safe, efficient installation.
• Coordinate interfaces with field engineering, design, quality, commissioning, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure work follows approved documents, specifications, ES&H requirements, and quality standards.
• Resolve field, technical, constructability, and commissioning issues with engineering support.
• Support team development through coaching and competency development.
