Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking a Piping Engineer (Mid-Level or Senior-Level) to support the design and analysis of piping systems for complex projects. You will perform integrated engineering analyses, develop design documents, and ensure compliance with standards and schedules.

The role offers collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, 3D modeling with AutoPIPE, and the opportunity to impact nuclear-grade equipment in a growing market. Hybrid work in multiple locations is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Mid-Level: 5+ years of piping design experience; Senior-Level: 15+ years.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.1 and B31.3 piping codes.
• Experience using Bentley AutoPIPE and 3D models for piping analysis.
• Experience collaborating with engineering and fabrication teams to develop detailed designs.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform integrated engineering analyses to support project execution and meet established schedules.
• Develop, review, and approve engineering designs, specifications, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Create and review design concepts, models, and layouts for piping systems and equipment.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues within assigned areas of responsibility.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, fabricators, and other stakeholders to develop effective design solutions.
• Support the preparation and review of PFDs, P&IDs, piping isometrics, pipe support details, and general arrangement drawings.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
