Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Houston is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to support the specification, selection, and technical oversight of piping materials for large LNG projects. The role reports to the Director of Plant Design and Piping and emphasizes compliance with industry standards.

Located in Houston, TX, this in-office position (Mon-Fri) may require travel to project sites and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design, fabrication and construction success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of piping and materials engineering experience.
• Familiarity with LNG facilities and ASME B31.3/B31.1 codes beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Specify, select, and oversee piping materials and datasheets.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, and clients to clarify scope.
• Develop piping material specs and ensure compliance with codes.
• Support procurement with material requisitions and bids.
• Interface with stress, process, mechanical, and construction teams.
