Job description

MULTI.engineering is currently looking for a senior piping designer for our own Design and Engineering Office in Vlissingen, The Netherlands.

Tasks & responsibilities

As a senior piping designer, you are part of the team that focuses on maritime projects within the field of piping and mechanics. You will collaborate closely with your team leader, and your skills will elevate the projects.

• You are responsible for the correct interpretation of the scope;
• You draw and design 3D piping models, P&ID’s, and layout drawings;
• You participate in concept development, basic, and detailed design;
• You prepare the necessary tie-in lists and isometrics.

You cooperate on engineering projects and are involved in stages before and after. You ensure the quality of these projects by applying our MULTI methodology.

Profile

Technical knowledge & soft skills

• You have at least a bachelor’s degree in Maritime Engineering or equivalent, with relevant experience;
• You are a design specialist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in piping and mechanical design;
• You are experienced with Cadmatic-Piping software;
• You have excellent spoken and written English skills; knowledge of Dutch is a plus;
• You thrive in a driven atmosphere where colleagues support each other and your contributions are valued;
• You are proactive, take initiative, and have a good sense of humor.
