Job summary

PERC-eng in Lafayette, LA seeks a full‑time Senior Piping Designer for upstream and midstream facilities. You will draft equipment and piping systems, and develop 3D piping models for onshore and offshore projects.

You must have 15+ years in detailed piping design, be proficient with AutoCAD and Cad Worx, and be able to read P&IDs and PFDs. Travel to sites is required; collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams is essential. Diploma or Associate in Drafting is acceptable; Bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• 15 years minimum experience in detailed piping design of upstream and/or midstream related facilities.
• 25% – minimum annual travels
• Must be Able to Work for any US Employer and Not require a work visa.

Responsibilities

• Design equipment and piping systems for upstream and midstream facilities.
• Prepare 3D piping models from P&IDs and equipment locations.
• Read and create P&IDs and PFDs.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (structural, electrical, instrumentation).
• Travel to onshore and offshore locations to gather field data and mark as-builts.
