Job summary

C&I Engineering in Kentucky is seeking a Senior Piping Designer to develop equipment arrangements and piping layouts. The role includes creating 3D models, leading small project teams, and performing plant-field sketches with vendor data and design criteria.

Candidates should have a 2-year CAD-focused degree with 15 years of experience or an ABET-accredited engineering bachelor's with 13 years of experience, plus travel up to 10%, TWIC, and a clean background check.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD/CADWorx proficiency with laser scan experience.
• Lead experience on small projects and auto CAD workflows.
• Proven refinery or chemical processing design exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develop equipment arrangements and piping layouts using P&IDs and vendor data.
• Lead small projects (2–3 person teams) to meet schedules and budgets.
• Gather field information and develop field sketches at plant sites.
• Coordinate with vendors and inter-discipline teams.
