Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher education preferred.
• 15+ years of piping design experience with 5+ years in direct supervision.
• Proficiency in CADWorx, MicroStation, AutoCAD or BricsCAD.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and develop staff.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes 2D and 3D CAD platforms to prepare plant layouts and piping designs.
• Ensure conformance to standards, codes, policies, and procedures.
• Directly supervise piping designers and mentor junior staff.
• Coordinate with project team, client, and other disciplines.
• Conduct coordination meetings and drive project progress.
• Lead and communicate effectively to maximize productivity.
• Prepare piping estimates and man-hour requirements for proposals.
• Develop alternate design layouts and value engineering ideas.
• Check vendor data and deliverables for clarity and accuracy.
• Review constructability, operability, and safety in design.
• Ensure compliance with piping design guides and standards.
• Assist in training lower-level designers.
