Northern Natural Gas seeks a Senior Pipeline Technician to operate and maintain compressor stations and pipeline facilities across the region. The role is multi-skilled, involving inspections, maintenance, and emergency response to ensure reliable gas transmission.

Ideal candidates have an technical associate degree or relevant certification, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility for overtime/overnight travel. Hazmat and LNG experience are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training preferred.
• Four to six years of related, progressive work experience if education is not met.
• Successful completion of Pipeline Technician Academy and/or at least one skill-block.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Assist in performing scheduled preventative maintenance on operational equipment at assigned facility.
• Supports emergency response.
• Locate pipelines and oversee third-party excavation and line crossings; install and inspect pipeline markers.
• Operate work equipment and tools used in pipeline operations, maintenance and repair.
• Maintain and operate facilities in compliance with specifications, codes, safety and environmental standards.
• Assist in maintaining records per state, federal and company procedures.
• Review work assignments with the team to ensure safe practices and reporting.
