Job summary

WHC Energy Services, a Surerus Murphy Company, is seeking a Senior Estimator for our Pipelines sector in The Woodlands, TX. The role entails preparing detailed estimates for pipeline projects, participating in on-site pre-job meetings, and collaborating with project managers to shape bid strategy and cost planning.

The candidate will analyze drawings and documentation to estimate time, materials, labor, and equipment, and will support the bid book development and subcontractor quotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ related industry experience in estimating or project management.
• Pipeline project experience would be considered an asset.
• Experience using MS Project, P6, or TILOS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for pipeline projects.
• Attend pre-job meetings onsite.
• Conduct pre-estimate meetings with project managers and management to plan bid strategy.
• Determine factors of production and project costs, timelines and revenue.
