Job summary

WSP USA Inc. seeks a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join our Chicago office, with consideration for multiple locations nationwide, including Traverse City, MI. You will collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver pipeline solutions for mining, oil & gas, and water sectors.

You will lead field and design tasks, perform routing studies and stress analyses, and coordinate surveys, permitting, and construction support. Strong communication and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5–7 years pipeline design experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform field and office work and operate company vehicles.
• Collaborate with multidiscipline engineers on pipeline design across lifecycle (FEED, routing, permitting, detail design, procurement, construction).
• Provide engineering support for routing studies, stress analysis, and mechanical design of liquid, gas, and slurry pipelines.
• Coordinate field investigations, utility surveys, environmental delineations, and geotechnical studies.
• Prepare cost estimates, bid summaries, and authorization requests.
• Support client meetings, progress reports, and communication packages with project teams.
