Job summary

WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer to work out of their Chicago, Illinois office, with options available in Novi, MI and other locations. This role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, providing engineering support on pipeline systems and ensuring project delivery aligns with company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years pipeline design experience in consulting or operating company.
• Registration as Engineer in Training (EIT) minimum, Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as dictated by project demands.

Responsibilities

• Perform work both in the field and office, and operate vehicles on behalf of the company.
• Provide engineering support for pipeline routing studies and mechanical design.
• Interact with clients and maintain positive client relationships.

Skills

Strong verbal communication

Detail-oriented

Pipeline design codes knowledge

Familiarity with AutoPIPE

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Civil Engineering
