Job summary

WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer to work from our Chicago office with consideration for multiple locations including Indianapolis. This role involves working with engineering teams globally to deliver pipeline solutions across the mining, oil & gas, and water sectors.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in pipeline design, possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field, and demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. The position includes a comprehensive benefits suite and supports a flexible workplace model.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years pipeline design experience, either in consulting or pipeline operating company.
• Registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT); Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Knowledge of liquids and gas design codes including 49 CFR Part 192 and 195.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform field and office work and operate vehicles on behalf of the company.
• Coordinate field investigation work for surveys and environmental assessments.
• Prepare project funding documents such as cost estimates and authorization requests.
