Job summary

TIC Inc is seeking a skilled tradesperson to plan, lay out, install, test and repair piping systems in accordance with plans, specifications and codes. You will read isometric drawings, measure precisely, fabricate parts, and install piping efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities include aligning components for welding, assembling pipes and fittings, and inspecting work for contract compliance. Expect field work across various sites and overtime as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Able to communicate effectively with supervision and team members.

Responsibilities

• Plan, layout, install and repair piping systems per plans and codes.
• Read isometrics, measure, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt and clamp components for welding.
• Assemble pipes, fittings and equipment by welding or threading.
• Install materials and equipment as per plans and specs.
• Identify material types and thicknesses accurately.
• Handle rigging equipment safely.
• Operate bevelers, grinders, threaders, torches and drills.
• Layout and install equipment, vessels, pumps and supports.
• Estimate time, quantities, and resources needed for tasks.
• Inspect workers' output for contract compliance and correct as needed.
