Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, AL is seeking an experienced GTAW welder to support aerospace manufacturing. You will read engineering drawings, develop weld schedules per AWS D17.1, and operate automated welding equipment in a production environment.

Must be able to pass multiple weld tests and handle materials safely, with shift flexibility. Relocation is available; the role requires a disciplined, self-driven professional with strong quality focus and hands-on problem solving in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• 7+ years GTAW welding in production setting.
• Proficient with MS Office; able to develop weld schedules per AWS D17.1.
• Knowledge of NDT and quality policies; experience with automated welding equipment.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and passing a weld test (1F, 3F, 2G, 3G, 6G).
• Experience with GD&T and lean manufacturing concepts is a plus.
