Job summary

Aquatech seeks a Senior Pilot Operator to lead deployment, assembly, operation, and maintenance of advanced water filtration pilot systems from its Albany, Oregon office. You will oversee field teams, ensure 24/7 commissioning, and coordinate with customers worldwide on technical planning and training.

The role requires 10–15 years of hands-on experience in water treatment, strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, and the ability to travel up to 75% with occasional site-based work.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of direct experience in water or wastewater treatment.
• Associate degree or trade school certification in a related technical discipline.
• Experience managing field personnel during 24/7 commissioning.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 75%.
• Valid passport and driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment, assembly, and maintenance of mobile pilot systems.
• Direct field operator teams during start-up and commissioning.
• Provide on-site training to customer staff.
• Ensure safety through OSHA standards and JSAs.
• Report daily status to engineering teams and client management.
