Job summary

Luminary Cloud is seeking a Senior or Principal Solutions Engineer to collaborate with customers on challenging CAE and Physics AI workflows. You will translate complex simulation problems into clear architectures, partnering with simulation engineers and leadership to shape solutions.

You’ll lead technical discovery, deliver demos, workshops, and proofs of concept, and work across teams—AI/ML, product, engineering—to drive proposals. Travel to customer sites is expected as part of engagements.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience at Senior/Principal level.
• Strong CAE simulation experience (CFD/CAE).
• Customer-facing technical role experience (solutions engineering, presales).
• Strong communication with hands-on engineers and leadership.
• Familiarity with Python, APIs, SDKs, or workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery for complex CAE use cases.
• Deliver technical demos, workshops, and proofs of concept.
• Partner with Account Executives and engineering teams during engagements.
• Explain how Physics AI, simulation, and automation fit into workflows.
• Identify risks, integration needs, and gaps for proposals.
• Provide feedback to Product/Engineering and build reusable demos.
