Job summary

AtriCure, Inc. is seeking a Senior Physician Education Specialist to lead education initiatives for healthcare providers, including surgeons, APPs, nurses, and allied professionals.

You will build relationships with KOLs and manage external faculty to ensure compliant, high-quality education aligned with business strategy. You will design curricula, develop resources, and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Clinical Science, R&D, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance to deliver impactful programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience.
• Minimum 1 year medical device or pharma industry experience; project management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel frequently (~60%), including overnights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of education initiatives aligned with broader strategic objectives.
• Design and deliver education programs, including objectives, curriculum, content, and tools.
• Develop and maintain education resources and customer-facing materials.
• Identify and cultivate KOLs, faculty, and training sites for opportunities.
• Manage KOL and faculty relationships, including onboarding and coordination.
• Partner with field teams to implement best practices through aligned education activities.
• Gather feedback to continuously enhance program quality.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Clinical Science, R&D, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory.
• Extend physician education initiatives across the Americas, tailoring programs to local needs.
• Attend conferences to support KOL engagement and education efforts.
