Job summary

AtriCure, Inc. is seeking a Senior Physician Education Specialist to lead high-impact healthcare provider education initiatives across the Americas.

You will build relationships with KOLs and external faculty, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align programs with business strategy and improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities include designing comprehensive curricula, maintaining educational materials, and expanding training centers while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., Nursing, Health Sciences); advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.
• Minimum 1-year medical device or pharma industry experience. Project management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to travel frequently (~60%), including overnights and weekends, to execute initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of healthcare provider education initiatives aligned with broader strategic objectives.
• Design and deliver comprehensive education programs, including learning objectives, curriculum, content, and tools, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain education resources and customer-facing materials that support program engagement and knowledge transfer.
• Identify and cultivate KOLs, faculty, and strategic sites for training centers, centers of excellence, or collaborative opportunities.
• Manage KOL and faculty relationships, including onboarding, communication, and coordination for their roles in education delivery.
