• Bachelor's degree, NCCPA certification, and CAAHEP PA program completion.
• Maryland PA license or eligible in another state.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a comprehensive history and physical exam, documenting findings and discussing significant ones with a physician.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostics as delegated; discuss abnormal results with physician.
• Initiate IV therapy and life support when needed.
• Prescribe and regulate medications.
• Arrange consultations and referrals as needed.
• Attend staff meetings to discuss patient and unit requirements.
• Assist in design and conduct of research protocols and regulatory issues.
• Stay current with new treatment modalities and technologies in Emergency Medicine.
• Participate in interviewing clinical staff and hiring recommendations.

Bachelor's degree

NCCPA certification
