BNY is seeking a Senior Trade Operations Analyst to support the review, processing, and reconciliation of physical trade settlement activities. This role focuses on reviewing cash, position, and market value sheets, coordinating access to required applications, and escalating discrepancies to ensure timely completion.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in trade settlements or securities operations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a structured, controlled environment handling

Qualifications

• 2+ years in trade settlements, securities operations, or related financial services.
• Foundational understanding of trade flow, processing, and settlement operations.
• Attention to detail and ability to read complex documentation.
• Strong organization and time-management for deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Physical Settlements Processing: support settlement of trades involving physical certificates.
• Documentation Review: read and review settlement documents for accuracy.
• Reconciliation Support: assist with market value reconciliations and controls.
• Control & Accuracy Oversight: review cash, position, and market value sheets and escalate issues.
• Stakeholder Coordination: work with client service, reconciliation, controllers, and managers.
• Process Learning & Improvement: contribute ideas for workflow improvements.
• Application & Access Support: ensure required access for team activities.
