UVA Orthopedic Center Ivy Road in Charlottesville, VA seeks a licensed Physical Therapist 2. This role provides direct care to complex patients and mentors PT1s within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

The PT2 leads clinical instruction, participates in performance appraisals, and expands knowledge through in-services while guiding junior staff toward advanced clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• 6 months of relevant experience is required.
• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the Commonwealth of Virginia; BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Performs physical therapy examinations according to professional standards and department policy.
• Demonstrates knowledge of intervention options and executes a program of skilled PT intervention.
• Actively participates in professional growth of self and others.
• Actively participates in quality improvement and program development.
• May be assigned other duties; PT2 serves as a primary clinical instructor for students.
