UVA Health is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Charlottesville. You will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to restore function, reduce pain, and prevent disability across all ages.

We value collaboration, evidence-based practice, and ongoing professional development in a leading academic medical center. Eligible candidates hold a Virginia PT license and a DPT is preferred; BLS is required.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions including exercise, manual therapy, functional training, and modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Maintain compliance with all departmental, state, and federal guidelines.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities.
