Qualifications

• Education: CAAHEP-approved PT curriculum and clinical requirements.
• Licensure: Active PT license in the U.S. and NPTE completion.
• Minimum: 3 years of graduate education toward Ph.D. or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year of specialized experience at GS-9 level.
• Combined: Education and experience meet GS-11 competencies.
• Background: Federal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the Physical Therapy department, including strategy, policy, and budget.
• Promote training needs of direct-care staff for ongoing development.
• Provide PT evaluation and treatment to inpatients and outpatients of all ages.
• Provide professional consultation to department personnel and medical staff.
• Plan and deliver a full range of PT treatments.
