Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team. This full-time day position offers a Tuesday–Saturday schedule with 8:30am–5pm shifts, located at 601 E Rollins St, Orlando, FL 32803.

You will evaluate patients, develop and adjust individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include patient education, progress documentation, discharge planning, and referrals as needed.

Qualifications

Advanced clinical competency in discipline-specific practice, theory, principles and application.
Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Windows, and EMR systems.
Ability to read, write, and speak conversational English effectively.
Ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal, and electronic formats with patients, staff, physicians, nurses, and administrators.

Responsibilities

Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
Establish and implement individualized treatment plans with goals and activities.
Discharge planning and recommendations for equipment and home programs.
Document education and patient progress accurately and timely.
Maintain compliance with CPT coding and insurance guidelines.
Participate in quality improvement and professional development.
