AdventHealth in Orlando is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team. This full-time day position offers a Tuesday–Saturday schedule with 8:30am–5pm shifts, located at 601 E Rollins St, Orlando, FL 32803.
You will evaluate patients, develop and adjust individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include patient education, progress documentation, discharge planning, and referrals as needed.

Utilizes knowledge of growth and development to evaluate age-appropriate behavior, motor skills, and physiological norms, modifying approach and communication skills as needed. Maintains clinical competencies through professional development, best practices, and serving as a clinical instructor. Oversees the care provided by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards. Adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours and assisting in other centers/programs as needed. Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures, and other extensions of clinical expertise to the community. Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards. Establishes, implements, and adapts individualized treatment plans, including goal setting, treatment activities, and frequency. Identifies the need for patient and caregiver education and utilizes opportunities for teaching, documenting education appropriately.
Monitors patient's response and progress to treatment and modifies treatment plans and referrals to other disciplines as appropriate. Communicates appropriately and effectively with patients, family and healthcare professionals within and across care settings and communities. Participates in discharge planning and make recommendations regarding equipment, home programs, and follow-up services. Documents accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures. Charges patient accurately and timely according to guidelines of the CPT code format and following insurance guidelines. Practices principles of professional development and performance improvements by maintaining clinical knowledge, using best and or evidence-based practices, and serving as a Clinical instructor. Contributes to and participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports departmental quality standards and initiatives. Other duties as assigned.
