Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Physical Therapist II to manage and mentor Physical Therapy services under the Rehabilitation Manager. The role emphasizes compliance, privacy, integrity, and service quality across modalities and regional operations.

The incumbent provides senior-level leadership, directs clinical care, mentors staff, and supports development of new care models while ensuring regulatory and licensure adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of full-time practice in physical therapy specialty.
• Graduate in PT with credentialing and licensure requirements.
• Postgraduate degree or fellowship/residency or ABPTS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct member care via in-person, telephonic, and video modalities.
• Mentor PT staff and provide education in specialty area.
• Develop and implement new clinical practice models for care delivery.
• Act as consultant for staff and assess competencies and training needs.
• Provide leadership to department and supervise PTAs, students, and staff.
• Ensure coverage across facilities in region as needed.
• Support compliance with Kaiser Permanente policies and Code of Conduct.
