Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide patient-centered physical therapy services under the direction of the Director, Assistant Director, or Clinical Supervisor. The role includes departmental in-services, mentoring staff, and contributing to clinical practice improvements.

Requirements include a CA PT license, NPI, and BLS, with a minimum of two years of PT experience and graduation from an accredited PT program.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy curriculum with a Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral degree and PT certification or foreign equivalent.
California Physical Therapist License required at hire.
National Provider Identifier required at hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

Provides physical therapy services to patients under supervision.
Possesses department in-service presentations as requested by management.
Serves as a clinical instructor as requested by management.
Assists in orientation and training of employees as needed.
Provides consultation to staff and may mentor for staff.
Identifies process improvement opportunities and participates in performance improvement projects.
Contributes to development and implementation of new clinical practice models for care delivery.
Monitors the work of contract therapists and patient treatment in Kaiser and non-Kaiser facilities.
Performs other duties as required within scope of practice.
