Job summary

JLL is seeking a Physical Security Technology Lead in South San Francisco to manage day-to-day access control, intrusion, and video surveillance across client and corporate environments. You will guide a high-performing team and own ongoing enhancements within an Agile framework.

The role requires a strong background in physical security tech, enterprise PACS platforms, and vendor coordination to ensure reliable, compliant security operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive physical security technology experience including leadership.
• Hands-on configuration/administration of enterprise PACS systems (Lenel OnGuard, Genetec, C•CURE).

Responsibilities

• Lead as a hands-on manager balancing execution with delegation.
• Manage workload distribution to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Own operational standards and drive continuous improvement of security programs.
• Define software/firmware enhancement specs and oversee UAT for releases.
• Oversee badge printing, visitor management, and on-site distribution programs.
• Coordinate with vendors and integration partners on field service issues.
• Represent team in audits and ensure accurate documentation of controls.
