Job summary

Our Utility Client in West End NYC seeks a Senior Pro-Watch System Administrator for an onsite 12+ month engagement. You will manage Pro-Watch access control, Genetec Security Center, Nutanix clusters, and SQL databases while supporting Windows Server environments.

The role emphasizes system reliability, disaster recovery planning, and collaboration with cybersecurity, networking, and facilities teams to ensure secure, available infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in IT, CS, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years supporting enterprise server environments and critical infrastructure.
• Experience with physical security systems or video management systems is strongly preferred.
• Solid troubleshooting and customer-service oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Pro-Watch access control servers and hardware.
• Maintain Genetec Security Center servers and video management systems.
• Manage ChangeGear SQL databases, backing up, restoring, and optimizing performance.
• Support Windows Server infrastructure, AD, and patch management.
• Coordinate hardware/software upgrades for security systems and infra.
• Provide on-call support for critical systems and incidents.
