Job summary

Lucid Computing is building a novel physical and operational security verification platform in partnership with RISE. We seek a security lead to design and operate adversarial testbeds for AI compute verification, focusing on real-world threats and open publication of findings.

You will work with hardware, network, cryptography, ML, and governance teams to craft threat models, secure installation procedures, and verification architectures that withstand sophisticated adversaries and public

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience securing AI/GPU data centers and facilities.
• Deep expertise in access control, surveillance, and tamper-evident measures.
• Ability to model threats against sophisticated adversaries.
• Experience designing secure receive/procurement and lifecycle processes.
• Familiarity with data center power, cooling, cabling, and network topology.
• Experience supporting or leading physical penetration tests and red-team activities.
• Ability to produce clear threat models, SOPs, and inspection protocols.
• Proven ability to design novel security mechanisms from first principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement physical and operational security protocols for advanced AI compute environments.
• Collaborate with hardware, network, cryptography, ML, and governance teams to evaluate verification architectures.
• Develop and publish installation and inspection methodologies and threat models.
• Oversee secure deployment of in-path verification devices and live workloads in GPU clusters.
