Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union seeks an experienced security professional to oversee video surveillance and intrusion systems across branches and ATMs. You will plan, implement, and maintain security programs, coordinate with vendors and law enforcement, and manage security projects to completion.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in physical security, expertise with CCTV and IDS, and certifications (PSP/CPP preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in physical security, preferably 7+.
• Expert knowledge of CCTV and intrusion detection systems.
• PSP or CPP certification is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, scheduling, and implementation of security projects within budget.
• Troubleshoot and support hardware installation and programming for video surveillance and intrusion devices.
• Design and review branch security plans from start to finish.
• Create security risk criteria and assess high-risk branches to mitigate risks.
• Serve as liaison with GSOC and respond to alarms or security incidents.
• Oversee vendor relationships and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Research and cost-analyze new security devices or tech for effectiveness.
• Oversee remediation after burglary or vandalism.
• Develop KPIs and measure against organizational benchmarks.
• Build relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement.
• Occasional travel and overnight stays for security needs and conferences.
• Perform after-hours support as needed.
