Job summary

Inabia Solutions & Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead Physical AI lab activities in Boston. You will own design-to-test processes, build test benches, integrate hardware, and mentor junior staff.

The role covers reliability testing, failure analysis, and close collaboration with hardware engineers and AI researchers to ensure repeatable, safe laboratory practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• At least seven years of hands‑on hardware development, test engineering, or mechatronics experience.
• Advanced proficiency with electronic test and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
• Experience designing and building test benches and fixtures.
• Strong problem solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, and operate test benches for prototype robotic hardware.
• Develop test plans and acceptance criteria with hardware engineers.
• Own test execution, data collection, results analysis, and documentation.
• Train junior lab personnel on equipment operation and procedures.
• Lead root‑cause analysis for hardware failures and document findings.
• Provide hands‑on technical direction during prototype builds and testing.
