Job summary

Inabia Software & Consulting Inc. is seeking a Robotics Lab Engineer to join a growing System Verification and Validation team focused on development and testing of next-generation robotics systems.

You will own and operate test environments, maintain lab equipment, and help bring multiple new test labs online at a pivotal moment of team expansion. In this hands-on role you will shape how robotics prototypes are built, tested, and validated at scale, collaborating with hardware and software test

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or above required.
• 5+ years in a technical lab/robotics/automation environment operating, testing, and maintaining equipment.
• Experience managing lab resources, equipment, and supplies.
• Experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems and performing hardware rework/repair.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot test environments, fixtures, and lab equipment for prototype development, verification, and validation.
• Perform robot repairs and hardware rework to maintain test readiness and diagnose root causes.
• Build, test, analyze, and validate robotic prototypes using motion capture systems, test fixtures, and lab instrumentation.
• Create high-quality artifacts including test reports, work instructions, and lessons-learned to support reproducibility.
• Identify process improvements in lab operations and lead initiatives for new lab spaces online.
