Job summary

10X ERP is seeking a senior PHP developer to join the core ERP engineering team. You’ll ship features, fix bugs, write migrations, and build integrations on a mature platform used by distribution companies nationwide.

You’ll work on the core platform with a PostgreSQL database and React/TypeScript frontend, while supporting server administration and infra tasks. AI tools like Claude Code/Codex are integral to daily work.

Qualifications

• Senior PHP developer with 5+ years in Symfony or similar framework.
• Strong PostgreSQL skills, including indexing and large datasets.
• Experience with Doctrine ORM, migrations, and complex entity relationships.
• Fully comfortable with AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code/Codex).
• Experience with API-first development, ideally API Platform.
• Frontend experience with React and TypeScript is a plus.
• Familiar with Linux server environments, Docker, Redis, and message queues.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (PHPUnit/Playwright).
• ERP, distribution, supply chain, or B2B SaaS experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship ERP modules and features across inventory, orders, purchasing, accounting, and warehouse management.
• Write and optimize Doctrine entities, repositories, and PostgreSQL queries for large-scale data.
• Develop API Platform state providers and processors following Symfony 7 conventions.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party services (payments, tax engines, shipping, CRM).
• Write async message handlers for background processing and data pipelines.
• Build/modify React and TypeScript frontend components for new features.
• Improve performance and reliability with caching and query optimization.
• Adopt AI tools as core parts of the daily workflow.
• Assist with Linux server administration, deployments, and issue troubleshooting.
• Write PHPUnit tests and Playwright E2E tests; participate in code reviews.
