Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming and MVC frameworks.
• Advanced experience with modern PHP and JavaScript.
• Strong background in MySQL or other relational databases.
• Experience applying best security practices (validation, sanitization, access control, etc.).
• Experience using Docker in local and production environments.
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and integration.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM).
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain custom software solutions that enhance internal business operations and customer experience.
• Develop and support integrations between ERP, CRM, inventory management, analytics systems, and websites.
• Collaborate with other developers to build APIs, automation tools, and services that improve efficiency and data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain e-commerce and lead-generation websites as needed.
• Maintain compatibility and integration with internal systems and third-party dependencies.
• Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams on technical enhancements.
• Follow and enforce best practices for security, reliability, and performance.
• Work closely with the Director of Technology & Innovation and other developers to align software initiatives with company goals.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
• Document technical processes, system architectures, and development standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
