INGENIOUS.BUILD is seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join a remote, globally distributed team building a cloud platform for real estate construction. You will work with PHP 8.1+, Laravel/Symfony, and a modular monolith to deliver scalable applications and robust tests.

Qualifications

• Fluent English at B2 level or higher.
• Extensive experience building scalable applications, ideally SaaS.
• Advanced proficiency in PHP 8.1+ with Laravel or Symfony.
• Strong focus on clean, framework-agnostic code and modular architecture.
• Thorough knowledge of automated testing with PHPUnit.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable PHP applications within a modular monolith.
• Drive code quality with tests, refactoring, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across teams to minimize meetings and maximize output.
• Contribute to infrastructure thinking with CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor teammates and share knowledge across the organisation.
• Shape product direction by asking questions and challenging assumptions.
• Participate in architecture discussions to keep boundaries clear.
