Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or related discipline required.
• Two years of clinical experience in addiction or mental health treatment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ability to manage clinical practices.
• Experience with EMRs and tele-health.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and direction to clinical staff on counseling functions.
• Monitor services and review charts for clinical appropriateness.
• Conduct clinical reviews to track patient progress.
• Collaborate with the program director to troubleshoot complex treatment situations.
• Perform direct clinical services including individual and group counseling; maintain a reduced caseload as needed.
• Ensure care coordination with payer requirements and provide training on this to staff.
• Drive performance improvement projects and improve clinical care systems.
• Train staff on documentation and current practices.
