Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional photography experience with consumer/retail/lifestyle brands
• At least 3 years as an in-house photographer for a consumer, retail, or lifestyle brand
• Strong portfolio across product, ecommerce, lifestyle, campaign, and social photography
• Experience taking projects from concept through shooting, editing, and final asset delivery
• Strong eye for lighting, color, and storytelling; capable in natural and studio lighting

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day photography for ecommerce PDPs, product details, and lifestyle imagery
• Collaborate with Art Directors on concepts, shot lists, and lighting
• Produce images that highlight texture, detail, and quality of Brooklinen products
• Create lifestyle/editorial photography for campaigns, editorial storytelling, and social content

Overview

At Brooklinen, we believe the best things in life happen at home. We make thoughtfully designed, seriously comfortable home essentials, and we're looking for a talented Senior Photographer to help bring our products and brand to life.

Reporting to our VP of Creative, you'll work closely with our Art Directors and broader Creative team to concept, shoot, and deliver photography across ecommerce, product, lifestyle, campaign, and social. Your primary focus will be creating beautiful, thoughtful product and ecommerce imagery, with opportunities to contribute to seasonal campaigns, editorial storytelling, and social content.

This is a hands‑on, collaborative role for someone with a strong creative point of view and the technical skills to match. You understand how light, composition, and storytelling can make an image feel special, whether you're capturing an entire room or the smallest product detail. You're equally comfortable on a larger production or bringing an idea to life with a smaller, more nimble setup.

What You’ll Do

Product & Ecommerce Photography

• Own day-to-day photography for our ecommerce experience, including product detail pages (PDPs), silo photography, product details, and lifestyle imagery

• Partner with Art Directors on concepts, shot lists, lighting, composition, and visual direction from planning through final edits

• Capture products beautifully and accurately, highlighting the textures, details, and quality that make Brooklinen special

Campaign, Lifestyle & Social

• Create lifestyle and editorial photography that tells compelling stories about our products and how people live with them

• Collaborate on seasonal campaigns, bringing creative concepts to life through thoughtful lighting, composition, and storytelling

• Partner with our Organic Social team to create engaging, platform-native content, including quick-turn creative and behind-the-scenes moments

Production & Post-Production

• Collaborate with Creative Production on shoot planning, schedules, locations, and studio setups

• Own image selects, color correction, editing, retouching, and final asset delivery

• Adapt across larger productions and nimble in-house shoots, balancing creative quality with timelines and budgets

• Help maintain studio equipment, lighting setups, and photography workflows to support efficient, consistent production

Creative Collaboration

• Bring fresh ideas and a strong photographic perspective, helping evolve our creative work while staying true to Brooklinen's visual identity

• Collaborate with Art Directors, stylists, producers, and the broader Creative team to solve challenges and create thoughtful, cohesive imagery across channels

We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional photography experience, including at least 3 years working as an in-house photographer for a consumer, retail, or lifestyle brand

• A strong portfolio demonstrating range and a distinct creative point of view across product, ecommerce, lifestyle, campaign, and social photography

• Experience taking photography projects from concept through shooting, editing, and final asset delivery

• A strong eye for lighting, composition, color, and storytelling, with an understanding of both commercial product photography and editorial imagery

• Confidence shooting in natural and studio lighting, across both larger productions and smaller in-house setups

• Proficiency with professional photography equipment, lighting, and capture workflows

• Strong editing and retouching skills using Capture One, Photoshop, Lightroom, or comparable tools

• An understanding of what makes ecommerce imagery both beautiful and effective, with attention to product accuracy, texture, and detail

• Experience creating social content that feels authentic, engaging, and native to different platforms

• A collaborative, resourceful, and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently, solve problems creatively, and manage multiple priorities

• A genuine interest in home, interiors, design, and lifestyle photography
