Job summary

Optum, a global health services organization, seeks a Senior Phlebotomist to join our Eugene, OR team. You will perform venipuncture, waived and moderate testing (including microscopy), and EKGs, delivering high-quality patient care with meticulous attention to detail.

This role requires a Phlebotomy certificate and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, plus BLS. The position is 40 hours per week, with schedule Mon–Fri 10:30 am–7:30 pm and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Completion of a Phlebotomy Certificate program.
• BLS (AHA) certification required or obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Venipuncture and specimen collection following standard work.
• Perform waived and moderate complexity testing, including EKGs.
• Maintain accurate patient/test records and QC procedures.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Adhere to HIPAA, privacy, and confidentiality requirements.
• Interact professionally with patients and healthcare providers.
