Quest Diagnostics Employer Solutions in Festus, MO is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a Monday–Friday schedule 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with rotational weekends. The role requires 3+ years of phlebotomy, including pediatric and geriatric collections, and data entry proficiency.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain and enter billing information and process payments per policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Read and follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.
• Complete training courses on time.
