Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist III to perform high-volume blood collection and specimen processing in a fast-paced clinical setting in Mount Olive, NC.

You will draw 40-45 venipunctures daily across all ages, maintain accuracy, and follow OSHA/DEP guidelines. This onsite role requires a HS diploma, 5–7 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience, 6 months of venipuncture, and a 1-week initial training.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience preferred.
• 6 months of hands-on venipuncture in fast-paced setting.
• Experience drawing patients of all ages.
• Experience with labeling, processing, centrifuging, splitting, freezing, packaging specimens.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform approximately 40-45 blood draws per day using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
• Draw blood from patients across age groups including pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Explain venipuncture and collection process clearly to patients.
• Verify physician orders and ensure accurate patient identification.
• Match requisitions and labels with tubes to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis and transport per protocol.
• Maintain accurate patient manifests and specimen records.
• Follow OSHA and DEP requirements and participate in required trainings.
