Job summary

Top Echelon LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist in Mount Olive, NC. Schedule is 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday, with an anticipated 3 months duration and potential for permanent hire.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining specimen integrity while following procedures and regulations. Minimum qualifications include a valid phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must have valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens; document maintenance data; decontaminate as required.
• Record patient information and explain venipuncture procedures clearly and courteously.
• Match laboratory requisitions with specimen tubes; package specimens for transport.
• Store specimens at required temperatures and label containers correctly.
• Attend annual department trainings and comply with OSHA regulations.
