Job summary

Emerson Hospital is seeking a Sr. Phlebotomist to join our dedicated laboratory team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for patients of all ages, ensuring accurate labeling, processing, and accessioning of specimens.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong venipuncture and specimen collection techniques; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages.
• Label, process, and accession specimens per protocols.
• Enter orders into the Laboratory Information System with accuracy.
• Register patients and maintain precise data entry in LIS.
