An established industry player is seeking a Major Gift Officer to enhance its fundraising program. This role involves identifying and cultivating major donors, managing a diverse portfolio of prospects, and developing tailored strategies for donor engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and collaborate with various teams to align fundraising initiatives with organizational goals. Summary:
Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer and collaborating with the RIH/HCH President, hospital CDOs, Brown University Health Development Team, and volunteer leadership, the Major Gift Officer advances the fundraising program through successful identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major and planned giving donors.

Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Five to seven years of professional development experience, including success in major gift fundraising, preferably within a multi-institutional hospital or healthcare setting.
Supervisory Responsibility: None.
