Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Senior Phased Array Architect to lead the design and delivery of next‑gen antenna systems for high‑speed broadband from space.

You will guide RF, digital, and hardware teams, ensure system integration, and mentor engineers while aligning architectural decisions with producibility and evolving roadmaps. This role is based in Redmond, WA with a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering or equivalent.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on tight deadlines.
• Experience in phased array design principles including beamforming, steering, and calibration.
• Experience with RF front-end design, high-speed digital systems, and signal integrity.
• Experience with system modeling tools and architectural design methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead architectural vision for advanced phased array antennas.
• Serve as technical authority on phased arrays and roadmaps.
• Drive system-level design and optimization across RF, digital, and hardware teams.
• Oversee integration of phased arrays with RF front-ends and digital beamforming.
• Guide cross-functional teams to meet performance, power, and thermal targets.
• Collaborate with product management, supply chain, and operations on architecture vs production needs.
• Set direction for manufacturability and testability for high-volume production.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and foster technical excellence.
