Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Principal Phased Array Antenna Engineer to lead the design of next-generation high-frequency antennas for space vehicles. You will own substantial elements of end-to-end antenna hardware, from radiating elements to full arrays, working with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver space-qualified RF hardware.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or MS with relevant RF antenna design experience.
• Deep knowledge of electromagnetic theory applied to phased arrays.
• Experience leading antenna or phased array design projects.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design of advanced phased array antennas for microwave/mm-wave applications.
• Define system-level RF architectures and beamforming trade-offs.
• Conduct electromagnetic simulations to optimize performance, scan volume, and matching.
• Collaborate with RFIC/MMIC, DSP, mechanical and thermal engineers.
• Oversee fabrication, testing, and environmental qualification.
