Job summary

MaineGeneral Health is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Waterville, Maine. This role supports automated dispensing systems, prepares compounds, and manages orders and inventory to ensure safe, efficient pharmacy operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Maine pharmacy tech license, a CPhT certification, at least one year of hospital or retail pharmacy experience, excellent customer service and communication skills, strong math ability, and computer proficiency.

• Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems
• Prepares compounds within scope of practice
• Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy and other service departments
• Performs quality assurance rounds to assure regulatory compliance

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Current State of Maine Pharmacy Tech license required
• Current Pharmacy Technician Board Certification (CPhT) required
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in a hospital setting and/or retail setting, strongly preferred
• Extensive customer service experience
• Excellent and demonstrated communication skills
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Computer proficiency

Compensation Information:

$22.13 - $38.73
