Job summary

City of Hope is hiring an Admixture Technician in Prescott, AZ. The role involves technical pharmacy duties, supervision of technicians, and active participation in departmental operations under pharmacist oversight.

Requirements include two years of chemotherapy compounding experience, a current Arizona pharmacy technician license, and PTCB certification. City of Hope offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a daytime schedule Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Two years within the last five years in a comparable job classification with chemotherapy compounding experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Arizona pharmacy technician license is required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all technical duties of a pharmacy technician.
• Provide direct supervision and coordination of all technicians and duties.
• Active participation in departmental operations within policy and procedure guidelines.
• Work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacist manager.
• Handle Administrative Automation, packaging, sterile compounding, purchasing and inventory management.
