Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, Oregon is seeking a Per Diem/Day Shift Pharmacy Technician to join our Acute Care team. The Tech will fill and dispense unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to nursing units and other departments, triage orders, and maintain the automated dispensing system for prompt, accurate service.
The requirements include a high school diploma or GED, Oregon Pharmacy Technician license or certification, 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience with PTCB
The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech III performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS). Has advanced knowledge and skills in two or more specialty areas in the pharmacy.
